Job Description:
The Opportunity
The Quantum Ecosystems & Workforce Development Research Intern will support Quantum Design's Product Marketing team by researching and analyzing the rapidly growing quantum computing ecosystem. This role will help develop a strategic outreach and key account management plan focused on quantum computing centers, institutes, workforce development programs, and innovation hubs.
The intern will identify organizations with funding and growth potential, map their educational and research activities, and determine how Quantum Design's products, services, and expertise can support their workforce development and research objectives. This work will help transition sales and marketing efforts from reactive engagement to a proactive, strategic approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on quantum computing centers, institutes, innovation hubs, and workforce development programs worldwide.
- Identify and profile key organizations that align with Quantum Design's strategic growth initiatives.
- Research educational, workforce development, and research activities within target organizations.
- Identify key contacts and decision-makers, including faculty leaders, program managers, administrators, and executive stakeholders.
- Investigate funding sources
- Organize and maintain research findings in CRM and strategic planning tools.
- Develop market intelligence reports and recommendations for sales and marketing leadership.
- Support strategic account planning and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales teams to identify opportunities for engagement and growth.
- Assist in developing actionable recommendations for future business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, public policy, physics, engineering, education, data science, or related field
- Strong research and analytical abilities in addition to the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including excel and power point

Additional Information

- Hourly: $25 - $30, actual compensation may vary based on education, experience, skills, and qualifications
