About Us
American Dream Bites is a McDonald's franchisee organization operating three restaurants in Richmond, VA. If you're a strong GM who wants to grow with an owner who's in the restaurants every day, this is the right move.
The Role
You run the restaurant. That means P&L ownership, team development, food safety, guest experience, and hitting your metrics — not in that order, but all of them.
This is not a caretaker role. We're actively working to push OEPE to gold standard, grow guest counts, and hit 85%+ OSAT. The GM who joins us will own those numbers at their location and will be expected to move them.
What you'll be accountable for:
- Full PAC ownership — food and paper costs, labor, M&R, and PAC targets
- Staffing and scheduling — keeping the team right-sized without burning people out or blowing up labor cost
- RGRV, CFV, and Ecosure readiness — your restaurant should be able to pass any visit, any day
- Hiring and developing your managers — you're building a bench, not just filling shifts
- Guest metrics — OSAT, speed of service, and 1-800 complaint trends are all yours
- Food safety — zero compromise, period
What We're Looking For
You have at least 2 years of experience as a GM in a quick-service or fast-food restaurant doing $3M+ annually. McDonald's experience is a strong plus but not required — what matters is that you know how to run a busy kitchen, maintain food safety, hit PAC targets, and develop people.

- Leads from the floor, not the office
- Holds high standards without burning out the team
- Can look at their numbers and know exactly what's moving and what's not
- Has low ego and high accountability
- Open availability and reliable transportation — this is not a remote job
