Sales Associate
Indiana’s leading fine wine and spirits retailer is looking for an experienced, sales associate to join our sales team. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of domestic and imported wines & spirits, beers, and other alcoholic beverages along with experience in a retail environment, demonstrated sales experience and outstanding customer service skills.
The Sales Associate will be working with managers to make sure all 3 phases of the store are working efficiently.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate exceptional service and selling skills
- Maintain shelves to ensure both Spirits, Wines, Beers are filled and stocked
- Work as lead cashier during certain shifts
- Creating signage for all products in the store using templates created
- Assist sales associates with stocking product on the shelves and floor, organized effectively to maximize sales and simplify customer shopping
- Analyze sales data and work to expand sales
- Resolve Customer problems and complaints
Qualifications 1-3 years wine & spirits sales experience
- Knowledge of the wine & spirits industry
- Retail sales experience
- Available to work Night Shifts + Weekends (Saturdays)
- Minimum High school education
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Effective problem solving skills
- Ability to make on-the-spot decisions in a stressful situation
