RN Staff Nurse Jobs in Kentucky

INTRODUCTION

This role recognizes BSN-prepared RNs with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience who consistently demonstrate excellence in patient care, adaptability, and leadership. These nurses are flexible across all shifts and serve as key contributors to unit performance and patient outcomes. Assesses/reassesses all ages of patients and apply the nursing process.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS
• KY RN LICENSE
• EKG
• NIH Stroke Scale
• BSN from an accredited program
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Flexible availability for all shifts

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to peers and new staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit-based goals.
• Demonstrate leadership in patient safety, infection control, and care coordination.
• Flexibly rotate across shifts and units as needed to support staffing and patient care demands.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
