The New York-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns is a leader in providing outstanding, compassionate, personalized care to pregnant women, newborn babies and their families. The 222,000 square foot facility, that opened August 2020, features 75 private rooms and well-baby bassinets, 60 private neonatal intensive care isolettes, 16 labor and delivery rooms, five operating rooms, 20 maternal critical assessment and treatment rooms, and 15 ultrasound rooms, which offers state-of-the-art visualization. It is the first facility in New York City to have MRI capabilities and an operating room in its neonatal intensive care unit. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
If you are a current ICU RN interested in working in an innovative patient-care model that pairs ICU competencies with Obstetrical care to meet the needs of our High-Risk Obstetric patients, this is the position for you. Candidates who are strong patient advocates, work well within and across disciplines, and are interested in contributing to an evolving, innovative program is a requirement.
This is a 12 hour position full time night position located at NYP/Weill Cornell University Medical Center.
Includes rotating weekends and holidays.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in an Adult ICU
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS certification, ACLS certification
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Obstetrical experience
- Specialty certification

- Salary Range: $133,595-$153,220/Annual
