Roofing Project Manager
Field-Based Installation Management Role
DESCRIPTION
Do you thrive on leading field teams, solving problems in real time, and ensuring construction projects are completed with quality and discipline? Do you have what it takes to execute a roofing installation the right way?
At Trinity Total Home, we deliver industry-leading residential roofing solutions that protect homes and families. We are looking for a Project Manager who can lead the day-of-install process, manage subcontractor crews, and ensure every roofing project meets our standards for safety, quality, customer experience, and technical execution.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
The Roofing Project Manager is a field-based role responsible for managing the subcontractor crews performing the installation and ensuring every project is completed with excellent workmanship, strong communication, and an exceptional, 5-star customer experience. At Trinity Total Home, a phenomenal customer experience is the standard on every install, not the exception.
The Project Coordinator prepares the project before install by confirming scope, scheduling, ordering materials, and organizing the handoff. Once the job moves into installation, the Project Manager owns field execution: confirming the crew is ready, managing the subcontractor on site, addressing field issues, verifying quality, communicating with the customer, and completing the final walk-through.
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED
We expect every homeowner to feel informed, respected, and confident from the first conversation through the final walk-through. As Project Manager, you set the tone in the field and personally own the customer experience on install day. This role is measured not just on getting roofs installed, but on how exceptional that experience is for the customer.
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) on completed installations.
- 5-star customer reviews earned on every project.
- Pipeline cycle time — supporting the team's target of completing installations in under 20 days from signed contract to completed install.
- Installation quality, workmanship, safety, and on-time completion.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
- Earn over $100,000 annually.
- Base salary starting at $75,000 plus monthly and quarterly bonuses.
- Weekly base pay and monthly production-based bonuses.
- W-2 employee benefits, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with company match and more.
- Paid time off and holiday pay, including 2 weeks of vacation prorated during your first year, plus paid holidays.
- Paid training and leadership development.
- Company vehicle, gas card, and toll pass.
- Company cell phone, laptop, and necessary tools.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-of-install process for residential roofing projects from crew arrival through final walk-through.
- Deliver an exceptional, 5-star customer experience on every installation, owning the homeowner's experience in the field and driving strong NPS and 5-star reviews.
- Drive each installation to on-time, on-quality completion, supporting the team's target pipeline cycle time of under 20 days from signed contract to completed install.
- Direct and manage subcontractor crews on site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Trinity Total Home quality standards.
- Confirm contract obligations, project scope, materials, and customer expectations before and during installation.
- Inspect work in progress and completed installations to ensure strong technical execution and workmanship.
- Manage materials, labor, and field expenses while controlling costs without sacrificing quality.
- Resolve field issues, customer concerns, project quality issues, and timeline risks in real time.
- Serve as the primary field point of contact for homeowners during installation.
- Ensure subcontractor crews follow company expectations, jobsite standards, and safety requirements.
- Support subcontractor development and help identify/recruit local subcontractor crews as the market grows.
- Complete final walk-throughs, confirm customer satisfaction, and coordinate any required post-install follow-up.
- Support customer payment receipt and follow-up when needed.
A TYPICAL WEEK INCLUDES
- Visiting active roofing installations and managing subcontractor crews on site.
- Confirming job readiness, scope, materials, and customer expectations before install begins.
- Inspecting installation quality and resolving field issues as they arise.
- Driving installations to on-time completion to support a sub-20-day pipeline cycle time.
- Earning strong NPS scores and 5-star reviews by delivering an exceptional homeowner experience.
- Communicating with customers, Project Coordinators, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
- Completing final walk-throughs and documenting job completion details.
- Coaching crews on quality, safety, timing, and Trinity Total Home standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven leadership experience in installation, construction, project management, field operations, or a similar role.
- Home improvement installation experience required; roofing experience is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience supervising on-site construction personnel or subcontractor crews.
- Strong technical judgment, quality standards, and ability to identify and resolve field installation issues.
- Typical work hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility required during peak seasons or periods of increased workload, including some Saturdays.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and current insurance.
- Willingness to help recruit local subcontractor crews.
- Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs., climb a ladder, walk on a roof, bend, stoop, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- OSHA 10 certification and a strong safety mindset.
- Experience with Office 365, Salesforce, or other CRM/project management software is helpful.
- Roofing project management, subcontractor management, or residential exterior remodeling experience.

Roofing Jobs in Fort Lauderdale: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a roofing job in Fort Lauderdale?
Fort Lauderdale's roofing market is driven by high hurricane-season demand, a dense stock of aging single-family homes in neighborhoods like Coral Ridge and Lauderdale Lakes, and an active commercial sector along Federal Highway and I-95 business parks. Residential roofing contractors and storm restoration companies hire most consistently. Candidates with shingle, tile, or flat-roof experience and a valid Florida roofing license get priority, but laborers who can demonstrate job-site reliability are also competitive with local contractors.
Which companies hire roofings in Fort Lauderdale?
Fort Lauderdale roofing roles are posted by Advanced Roofing, Allied Roofing and sheet Metal, and PROSOLAR and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local market includes a mix of regional residential contractors, insurance restoration specialists, and commercial roofing firms serving the Broward County corridor.
Are there remote roofing jobs in Fort Lauderdale?
Yes, but only for a narrow slice of the field. Hands-on installation and repair work is fully on-site by nature. About 25% of roofing openings tied to Fort Lauderdale are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, covering roles such as estimating, project coordination, and sales where Fort Lauderdale contractors manage jobs across Broward and Palm Beach counties without daily site presence.
How can I get a roofing job in Fort Lauderdale with little or no experience?
Starting as a roofing laborer or helper with a local residential contractor in Fort Lauderdale is the most realistic entry path. Contractors along the Broward corridor frequently hire entry-level workers during peak storm season and in advance of hurricane preparation periods. Completing a basic OSHA 10 safety course before applying, being available for early morning start times, and demonstrating physical reliability on the job site are the factors that give newer candidates a real edge with Fort Lauderdale hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most roofings in Fort Lauderdale?
Fort Lauderdale roofing roles concentrate in Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Fort Lauderdale's high density of older residential neighborhoods, active commercial construction along Sunrise Boulevard, and a consistent cycle of storm-related insurance claims keep demand across those sectors steady year-round.
