Commercial Plumber – Orlando City Plumbing
Job Summary
Orlando City Plumbing (OCP) is hiring an experienced Commercial Plumber to install and maintain plumbing systems on commercial job sites across Central Florida. This is hands-on work — reading plans, running lines, and getting it right the first time. If you know your way around drain, waste, and vent systems and can run copper, CPVC, and PEX without hand-holding, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair commercial plumbing systems: water supply, drainage, and waste disposal
- Run PVC drain and waste lines to spec
- Run and solder/sweat copper water lines; install CPVC and PEX water lines
- Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing plans to lay out systems accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely on job sites
- Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites, transporting tools and materials
- Coordinate with project managers, GCs, and other trades to stay on schedule
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and code compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area on every job
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Able to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient running PVC drain lines
- Proficient running copper, CPVC, and PEX water lines
- Working knowledge of Florida plumbing code
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight or awkward spaces
