Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and low/high voltage testers to identify faults in electrical systems.
- Repair and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial controls, and automation equipment to ensure seamless operation.
- Operate precision measuring instruments and welding tools like stick welders to perform repairs requiring high accuracy.
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems including HVAC/R units and high-voltage equipment.
- Use field service skills to support equipment troubleshooting in various areas of the manufacturing plant, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance activities and working safely with high-voltage systems.
- Assist with technical sales support by providing insights into equipment repair or upgrades when needed.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping.
- Skilled in welding techniques such as stick welding for repair applications.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation components.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other field service equipment safely.
- Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation when supporting internal teams or external vendors.
