This position ensures that assembled products comply with the latest quality and revision requirements. The Engineering Safety Technician plays a vital role in troubleshooting equipment, driving continuous improvements in the assembly area, and supporting the Safety and Prevention department to ensure safe and ergonomic working conditions.
What You Will Do at Graco:
- Assist the Safety and Prevention department by conducting risk assessments and documenting safety procedures
- Create and maintain safety instruction cards (VIK) and commissioning reports
- Assisting assemblers in solving technical problems
- Perform maintenance or repairs on tooling and equipment
- Initiate and complete projects to improve efficiency, productivity, and responsiveness while ensuring ergonomic working conditions
- Determine the most cost-effective ways to reduce overstock through reworking or disassembly of suspected units
- Follow up on Quality issues and Engineering Changes, perform tests and inform relevant departments of any necessary information
- Update and maintain all technical information and instructions to ensure the most recent revisions are available for the assembly of high-quality products
- Assess assembly fixtures, tooling, and equipment according to CE requirements and follow up on legal safety and prevention requirements
- Maintain Bill of Materials in order processing system (Oracle) and create / adjust work orders if necessary
What You Will Bring to Graco:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanics or an equivalent technical field
- A Degree as Prevention Advisor (Level 3) is preferred
- Proven experience in Prevention & Safety within a technical environment
- A strong ability to understand complex technical and organizational problems
- Good written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and English
- Experience with MS-Windows applications, including Word, Excel
- The ability to handle installation of new equipment and general facility maintenance activities
- Practical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
