About the Role
As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will drive operational excellence by leading capital improvement projects and optimizing production systems. You will play a critical role in enhancing process reliability and efficiency through data-driven analysis and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of capital and plant improvement projects, from initial design and funding approval to construction and final startup.
- Analyze and monitor process data to ensure operational parameters remain within strict specifications, implementing adjustments as needed.
- Proactively identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations to maintain continuous flow.
- Maintain and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) to reflect current system configurations.
- Facilitate Process Safety Analysis (PSA), including HAZOP and FMEA, to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Ensure all engineering activities strictly adhere to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and quality protocols.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred).
- 3-5 years of professional engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in project management and process optimization.
- Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within GMP or food-regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting complex mechanical or chemical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through technical project implementation.
