Entry Level Sales Advisor Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales advisor job?
Focus on demonstrating communication skills, a customer-service mindset, and any relevant internship or retail experience you have. Entry level employers at this stage prioritize candidates who can show they understand how to build rapport and handle objections, even without years of formal sales history. A concise cover letter that speaks directly to the role's product or industry gives you a real edge over generic applications.
Which companies hire entry level sales advisors?
Companies hiring entry level sales advisors right now include Equinox, Warby Parker, and Rivian, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including regional retailers, national financial services firms, telecom providers, and insurance companies that run structured onboarding programs designed for candidates early in their careers.
Are there remote entry level sales advisor jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level are still on-site or hybrid. About 7% of entry level sales advisor openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who prefer flexibility do have options. Remote roles at this stage typically involve inside sales or phone-based advising, where employers can provide coaching and oversight without requiring an office presence.
Are these new grad sales advisor jobs?
Yes, many of the openings here are new grad and junior roles that explicitly welcome recent graduates, career changers, and candidates with zero to two years of experience. A new grad friendly posting typically notes that internships, coursework, or a portfolio of relevant projects can substitute for full-time work history, making these roles a genuine first step rather than a stretch target.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales advisors?
Entry Level sales advisor roles concentrate in Sports & Recreation, Medical Devices, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at the entry level because their products and services require ongoing customer education and relationship-building, creating a steady pipeline of junior sales roles that are designed to be filled by candidates who are new to the field.
