Entry Level National Sales Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level national sales manager job?
Employers hiring at the entry level typically look for candidates who can show early sales results, even from internships, campus roles, or part-time work. A clear track of quota attainment, client outreach, or team leadership in any context gives you an edge. Tailoring your resume to highlight measurable outcomes, like deals closed or leads generated, positions you ahead of candidates who only list responsibilities.
Which companies hire entry level national sales managers?
Companies hiring entry level national sales managers right now include Synertex, Allied Universal, and C&S Wholesale Grocers, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from growth-stage companies and national organizations building out sales teams who prefer to develop talent from the ground up rather than require extensive prior management experience.
Are there remote entry level national sales manager jobs?
Yes, though most openings at this level skew on-site or hybrid. About 29% of entry level national sales manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, meaning fully remote roles exist but are less common than in other functions. Candidates open to on-site or hybrid arrangements will find significantly more options in the current market.
Are these new grad national sales manager jobs?
Yes, many of the listings here are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates with little or no formal management experience. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it lists zero to two years of experience as acceptable, mentions internships or campus leadership as qualifying background, or describes mentorship and training as part of the role. These are real entry points, not placeholders for senior candidates.
Which industries hire the most entry level national sales managers?
Entry Level national sales manager roles concentrate in Consulting & Professional Services, Distribution & Wholesale, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to run large distributed sales teams with structured onboarding programs, making them more willing to hire and develop candidates who are early in their careers rather than requiring years of prior national-level management experience.
