Entry Level Sales Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level sales analyst job?
Focus on building comfort with data tools like Excel, SQL, or Tableau, since most entry level sales analyst roles test for these skills directly. Internship experience in sales operations, business analysis, or marketing analytics gives you a strong edge. Tailor your resume to show specific outcomes, even from class projects or part-time work, and apply to roles that explicitly welcome zero to two years of experience.
Which companies hire entry level sales analysts?
Companies hiring entry level sales analysts right now include JPMorganChase, Citi, and Grupo Bimbo, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide mix of employers, including fast-growing startups, regional distributors, and large enterprise organizations that run structured analyst programs built specifically for candidates new to the field.
Are there remote entry level sales analyst jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options exist at this level, though on-site roles are still common. About 26% of entry level sales analyst openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, which means candidates outside major metro areas can still compete for strong opportunities without relocating for their first role.
Are these new grad sales analyst jobs?
Yes, many of these listings are new grad and junior roles that welcome recent graduates and candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad-friendly posting typically accepts internships, coursework projects, or a portfolio in place of full-time work history, and often lists zero to two years of experience as the requirement rather than a hard minimum.
Which industries hire the most entry level sales analysts?
Entry Level sales analyst roles concentrate in Banking & Financial Services, Investment & Asset Management, and Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to drive hiring at the junior level because they rely on sales pipeline data, territory performance tracking, and forecasting work that fits well with the analytical skills recent graduates bring from business, economics, or related programs.
