Sales Development Representative Jobs in Chicago: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales development representative job in Chicago?
Focus your search on Chicago's SaaS, fintech, and B2B services sectors, where SDR hiring is most active. The Loop, River North, and Fulton Market corridor hold the highest concentration of relevant employers. Candidates who demonstrate CRM fluency, outbound prospecting experience, and familiarity with Chicago's tech and financial services ecosystem consistently stand out in local hiring processes.
Which companies hire sales development representatives in Chicago?
Companies currently hiring sales development representatives in Chicago include LSP44, Belden, and Convey, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's mix of established financial institutions, growth-stage SaaS companies, and B2B professional services firms makes it one of the Midwest's most active markets for SDR roles.
Are there remote sales development representative jobs in Chicago?
Yes, though many SDR roles require in-office time for team training, coaching, and collaboration, which limits full-remote availability compared to purely analytical positions. About 78% of sales development representative openings tied to Chicago are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting a market that favors hybrid arrangements. Roles at fully remote SaaS companies with Chicago-based teams tend to offer the most flexibility.
How can I get a sales development representative job in Chicago with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Chicago is targeting growth-stage SaaS and fintech companies in Fulton Market and River North, which regularly hire junior SDRs and provide structured onboarding. Lateral moves from customer success, retail, or account coordination roles are common stepping stones locally. Building familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot and completing a short sales bootcamp gives entry-level candidates a clear edge with Chicago hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most sales development representatives in Chicago?
Chicago sales development representative roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Manufacturing, and Medical Devices, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Chicago's position as a national hub for financial technology, enterprise software, and professional services creates sustained SDR demand across all three sectors throughout the year.
