Job Title: IT Support Assistant
Department: Information Technology
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
Location: Central Support Office, Oklahoma City, OK
Position Summary
The IT Support Assistant provides day-to-day technical support to Hope Center Ministries staff while also serving as a direct technical and administrative support resource to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This position assists with maintaining reliable technology operations across the organization and helps ensure employees have the systems, equipment, and access necessary to perform their roles effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for macOS and Windows computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and related technology.
- Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365, email, productivity applications, and other organizational systems.
- Perform password resets, account creation, access changes, and basic identity/access management tasks.
- Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and position changes, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, applications, and equipment.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers and other technology equipment.
- Maintain accurate IT asset and inventory records, including assignment, location, status, and lifecycle of organizational technology.
- Respond to employee support requests, document issues and resolutions, and escalate complex technical problems when appropriate.
- Assist with application deployment, software updates, system configuration, and implementation of IT standards and procedures.
- Provide direct support to the CTO, including assistance with technology projects, research, documentation, system administration, coordination, reporting, and other departmental priorities.
- Assist with special projects and perform other IT or administrative duties as assigned by the CTO.
Qualifications: Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; working knowledge of macOS, Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business technology; excellent communication and customer-service skills; ability to maintain confidentiality; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
