POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SAP Business Developer will be responsible for driving the growth of the SAP practice in the United States, identifying and developing new business opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships with clients and partners, and positioning the company as a trusted advisor in SAP-led business transformation initiatives. This role is aimed at a professional with a strong combination of commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and understanding of SAP solutions, with a particular focus on sectors such as advanced manufacturing, automotive, food & beverage, steel/metals, energy, utilities, and life sciences. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Define and execute the growth strategy for SAP and other digital consulting services in the U.S. market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities related to SAP S/4HANA, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Digital Supply Chain, Business Data Cloud, SAP Business AI, Sustainability, and other SAP solutions.
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Collaborate closely with SAP and strategic partners to drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
• Represent the company at SAP events, industry conferences, innovation forums, and customer engagements.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and business development targets.
• Understand the business challenges and transformation priorities of industrial organizations.
• Identify opportunities to help clients improve operational efficiency, supply chain performance, manufacturing excellence, and digitalization through SAP solutions.
• Develop value propositions tailored to specific industries and market segments.
• Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Coordinate with consulting and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution.
• Monitor market trends related to ERP modernization, cloud adoption, advanced analytics, AI, sustainability, and Industry 4.0.
• Stay informed about SAP’s strategic roadmap and emerging technologies.
• Support thought leadership initiatives that strengthen the company's position in the SAP ecosystem.
• Maintain a deep understanding of competitors, market dynamics, and industry best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–10 years of professional experience in business development, account management, consulting, or sales within enterprise software or digital transformation environments.
- Experience working with SAP solutions, either from consulting, implementation, software sales, or customer-side transformation programs.
- Proven track record of generating and closing business opportunities in industrial sectors.
- Experience working in multinational companies or international business environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MBA or postgraduate studies in Digital Transformation, Operations, Technology, Strategy, or Business Management will be highly valued
- Experience selling complex consulting services and transformation programs
- Existing relationships within the SAP ecosystem
- Spanish Speaking
