ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job is responsible for executing highly complex and sensitive corporate security activities essential to protecting the safety of employees and bank facilities. Key responsibilities include conducting behavioral threat assessments, oversight of the bank’s security preparedness, and management of the bank’s security technology and applications.
The Corporate Security Technology Innovation Manager is responsible for driving a proactive, enterprise-wide security technology program that aligns with organizational objectives and mitigates evolving threats. This role focuses on strategic planning, innovation, and continuous improvement to ensure security solutions are effective, scalable, and integrated seamlessly with business operations. The position emphasizes balancing robust security measures with an enhanced end-user experience, optimizing resources, and fostering consistency across all security services.
Responsibilities:
- Build a 3–5 year technology strategy with an actionable 18–24 month delivery roadmap (sequenced epics, dependencies, funding approach).
- Translate “security outcomes” into measurable objectives (risk reduction, continuity, productivity, service levels).
- Prioritize platforms and frameworks that balance risk, resiliency, regulatory expectations, and cost.
- Drive adoption of advanced technologies, including analytics, AI/Machine Learning, and automation, for current and future security use cases.
- Lead modernization of infrastructure, including migration to cloud-based solutions for integrated, end-to-end security processes.
- Set standards for evaluation, data use, model risk, and controls.
- Develop and maintain an innovation catalog through engagement with industry associations, peer institutions, and research bodies.
- Identify and pilot emerging technologies that enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
- Implement benchmarking routines and cross-discipline risk committees (physical, cyber, resiliency) to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and external agencies to ensure cohesive security integration and compliance.
- Maintain regular engagement with Corporate Security leadership to align on strategic vision and initiative pipeline.
- Support consistent project execution and change management processes, ensuring enterprise alignment and positive end-user adoption.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in physical security strategy/corporate security leadership or advanced level technology integration expertise (cloud/AI and infrastructure acumen)
- Proven track record in implementing enterprise security programs and technology modernization initiatives
- Proficiency with technical writing, including communication, complex process/procedure documentation, learning modules and reference material.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships to various internal senior stakeholders and external partners
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to drive strategy and meet critical deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- CPP, PSP, PMP certification
- Proficiency with MS 365 and Copilot
