How do I get a senior information security analyst job in Washington?
Washington's market is driven by federal agency contracts and cleared work, so candidates with active security clearances, FISMA compliance experience, or FedRAMP expertise stand out immediately. Focus on federal contracting firms in Foggy Bottom, defense and intelligence primes near Capitol Hill, and civilian agency offices concentrated throughout the District. Certifications like CISSP or CISM carry real weight with Washington hiring managers in this environment.
