- Design and execute test cases for RESTful APIs, validating endpoints using tools such as Postman or REST-assured, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze system specifications, and translate them into effective test plans aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) practices.
- Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to automate build and test processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on defects identified during testing phases, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues using debugging tools and SQL queries on databases like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contribute to QA test planning, review test cases, and execute QA/QC activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git or SVN for managing code repositories and maintaining consistency across development cycles.
- Support performance testing efforts using LoadRunner or similar tools to evaluate system scalability under load conditions.
Qualifications
