Description and Requirements
Lenovo is building a team that will focus on creating a solution for managing and optimizing the costs for token spend, among other enterprise AI services. The platform will provide model orchestration, token accounting, cost controls, security governance, usage analytics, and API management, enabling organizations to securely scale AI adoption while maintaining visibility, compliance, and budget control across diverse AI workloads and ecosystems.

Lead Frontend Engineer - AI Platform and User Experience
Job Responsibilities:
- User Experience Optimization:
Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers to create interactive experiences.
Create effective user experience workflows and user interactions for improved usability.
Implement responsive design principles and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Technical Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in collaboration with back-end developers.
Analyze error logs, browser console messages, and code logic to identify root causes.
Implement timely fixes to ensure stable product operation.
- Performance Optimization:
Analyze and improve front-end performance using techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and resource compression.
Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous optimizations.
Ensure fast page load times and seamless user experience.
- AI/LLM Experience:
Experience integrating AI-powered user experiences such as chat interfaces, copilots, conversational AI, or LLM-driven workflows.
Familiarity with consuming AI/ML APIs and streaming inference responses in front-end applications.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering productivity platforms is a plus.
- Experience building real-time dashboards, operational monitoring platforms, or data visualization interfaces.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- 10+ years of experience with high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with front-end performance optimization tools and techniques.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack and package management.

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 184,700–283,245 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
