Service Coordinator Jobs in St. Louis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a service coordinator job in St. Louis?
Focus on St. Louis's largest hiring sectors: healthcare systems anchored in the Central West End and south county, nonprofit social service agencies in Midtown and North City, and logistics and supply chain operations near the riverfront and Lambert area. Candidates who can show case management experience, familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs, or prior work with a St. Louis-area human services organization tend to move fastest through hiring pipelines here.
Which companies hire service coordinators in St. Louis?
Companies currently hiring service coordinators in St. Louis include Acertus, Siemens, and Murphy Company, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. St. Louis's mix of major hospital networks, regional insurance carriers, and established nonprofits means hiring is spread across both large institutions and smaller community-based organizations.
Are there remote service coordinator jobs in St. Louis?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role type. Service coordinators in hands-on case management or field-based support positions are almost always on-site, while those in insurance utilization management or administrative coordination work remotely more often. About 47% of service coordinator openings tied to St. Louis are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with the strongest remote concentration in insurance and behavioral health roles.
How can I get a service coordinator job in St. Louis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in St. Louis is a direct support professional or client services assistant role at one of the city's many nonprofit disability or behavioral health agencies. Organizations in North City and South St. Louis County frequently hire entry-level staff and promote from within. A background in customer service, retail, or community outreach, combined with any Missouri-based volunteer or internship experience, gives candidates a concrete edge when competing for these roles.
