Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join our team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow ITSM solutions. This role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow customization, integrations, ITSM processes, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support ServiceNow ITSM modules including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Request Management
- Service Catalog
- CMDB
- Configure and customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, ACLs, Flow Designer, and other ServiceNow components.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations, IntegrationHub, and MID Server implementations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform platform upgrades, and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-production activities.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Hands-on experience with:
- JavaScript
- Flow Designer
- Service Catalog
- CMDB
- ServiceNow Integrations
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of ServiceNow applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
