Job Summary

As a Shift Manager at Jumping Cholla, you will lead on-shift operations, supervise floor and front-desk staff, ensure a safe and fun guest experience, and support the growth of our new membership program. You will coach cashiers on making a short, honest membership offer at checkout, monitor enrollment accuracy, and help the team turn interested guests into members while keeping the park running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the facility on specified weekdays and weekends
• Promote a positive team culture for both employees and guests
• Supervise on-site staff, including court monitors and front-desk cashiers
• Support and supervise membership sales: coach front-desk staff on offering Weekday ($26/mo) and Anyday ($29/mo) memberships, ensure the brief honest offer is made, and verify accurate enrollment in the POS/CenterEdge system
• Monitor membership sales activity during the shift and provide real-time coaching on matching the right plan to the guest’s jump habits
• Help resolve guest questions about memberships, including plan differences, family add-ons, auto-renewal, cancellation, and cooling-off periods; escalate complex billing issues as needed
• Ensure staff follow membership rules (named jumpers, no buddy/guest passes, grip socks not included, etc.)
• Monitor proper maintenance, cleanliness, and inventory of the facility and equipment
• Promote and enforce safety for employees and customers
• Reconcile point-of-sale tills at close and operate the POS system
• Ensure guest experiences are memorable and positive; resolve concerns and technical issues
• Supervise park staff in performing their job tasks (cleaning, safety monitoring, party support, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college preferred
• Prior supervisor or lead experience
• Proven conflict management and coaching skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
• Comfortable coaching staff on a simple sales conversation (full membership training provided)
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
