We're looking for a creative, motivated, and social media-savvy Content Creator to help showcase our remodeling projects, capture engaging content, and grow our online presence.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio, gain hands-on marketing experience, and potentially grow into a full-time role with our marketing team.
What You'll Do
- Content Creation: Visit remodeling project sites to capture high-quality photos and videos, including before-and-afters, project progress, completed transformations, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Video Editing: Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms using CapCut or similar tools.
- Graphic Design: Create social media graphics, Stories, and basic marketing materials using Canva.
- Content Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, follow trends, and develop engaging content.
- Content Organization: Organize and maintain photo, video, and marketing asset libraries for easy team access.
What We're Looking For
- Experience creating and editing social media content (personal, freelance, or professional experience is welcome).
- Proficiency in Canva and CapCut.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and current social media trends.
- Basic understanding of social media marketing and content strategy.
- A creative eye for photography, videography, and visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation to travel to project locations throughout Northern Virginia.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and engagement strategies.
- Experience creating content for home remodeling, construction, interior design, or real estate.
- Basic photography and videography skills.
Compensation & Opportunity
- 1099 independent contractor position with a flexible, project-based schedule.
- Hourly rate: $25
- Video editing and ongoing social media management compensation to be discussed based on responsibilities and deliverables.
- Opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside an established marketing team.
- Potential for a full-time marketing position as the company continues to grow.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4.0 – 16.0 per week
