Entry Level Strategy Intern Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level strategy intern job?
Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can show analytical thinking through coursework, case competitions, or class projects rather than years of work history. A concise resume that highlights a relevant project, a clear framework for problem-solving, and any exposure to data tools like Excel or Tableau will give you a real edge. Tailor each application to the specific industry the role sits in.
Which companies hire entry level strategy interns?
Companies hiring entry level strategy interns right now include TikTok, Xcel Energy, and Momentive Performance Materials, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. At this level you will find a mix of large corporations running formal intern programs and smaller firms that bring on junior contributors for defined project cycles.
Are there remote entry level strategy intern jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up a significant share of openings at this level. About 28% of entry level strategy intern openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, so candidates who need location flexibility do have real options. Filtering by work setting when you search will help you focus on roles that match your situation.
Are these new grad strategy intern jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles that explicitly welcome candidates with little or no professional experience. A new grad friendly posting typically notes that zero to two years of experience is acceptable, or that internship work, coursework projects, or a portfolio can substitute for a formal work history. If the posting does not require prior full-time employment, it fits this category.
Which industries hire the most entry level strategy interns?
Entry Level strategy intern roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Energy, and Manufacturing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Those sectors tend to drive hiring at this level because they run structured intern programs and need analytical support on competitive research, market sizing, and internal planning projects that are well suited to early-career contributors.
