Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Role Summary
The Sr. Customer Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for driving supply chain value for strategic customers by planning and executing to a high level of customer service/customer experience enabled by strong internal and external collaboration and communication. This role works in close collaboration internally with product line management, commercial (sales, CSRs, etc.), customer program team(s), manufacturing, and supply chain teams (plant and regional planners, supply chain managers, plant buyers/global supply management, logistics, etc.) to consistently exceed customers’ delivery expectations, enable revenue/profitability growth, and improve inventory/cash flow performance. The Sr. Customer Supply Chain Analyst communicates frequently with key stakeholders within the organization on customer metrics/performance.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate timely and effective SC communication and information flow across internal functions and external business partners supporting assigned customer(s)
Lead/collaborate across functions on customer order management execution (keen attention to detail and strong sense of urgency)
Proactively monitor/analyze customer fulfillment performance: customer backlog, undated orders, production order status/tracking, inventory, and any other actions needed to exceed customer delivery expectations
Quickly identify and roadblocks and drive resolution for any constraints related to hitting committed ship dates
Collaborate within customer program team (PLM, commercial, sales) to identify, manage, and execute customer priorities
Ensure customer forecast is accurate within our ERP system
Participate in forecast consensus meetings representing customer demand
Work with customer to understand demand model, architecture changes, NPI’s, build schedules, and drive synchronization of orders within the plants
Collaborate with plant & regional supply chain planners to ensure sufficient supply plans to meet customer demand at work center level
Support product changes, new product introductions (NPI) and customer transition plans for associated customer
Support all inventory-related initiatives for associated customer including global stocking programs and PIRA’s
Maintain customer delivery metric tracking and communication for associated scorecards and reporting (internal and external)
Support cost saving initiatives, lean initiatives, and process improvement or customer program projects.
Support regional and global SIOP meetings
Collaborate with regional/global planning to ensure customer demand is serviced optimally supporting business objectives/strategy
Education and Experience: Required
Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Business, or technical field) with 2+ years of Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, or Customer Operations (or equivalent) experience
Strong SAP experience (Production, Planning and Scheduling)
Experience managing customer orders, backlog, inventory, forecasts, or fulfillment performance, while working cross-functionally to resolve supply/delivery constraint
Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret customer requirements and business objectives
Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Education and Experience: Desired
APICs or Institute for Supply Management (ISM) certifications CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, C.P.M., A.P.P., etc.
Demonstrated ability to use lean techniques

The range for this position is $71,768.00 - $98,681.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
