Supply Chain Manager Jobs in Jacksonville: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a supply chain manager job in Jacksonville?
Focus on employers in Jacksonville's port-driven logistics sector, its distribution centers along the I-95 and I-10 corridors, and its defense and aerospace contractors clustered near NAS Jacksonville. Experience with import and export operations, third-party logistics coordination, or naval supply chain systems gives candidates a clear edge here. Connecting with local industry groups and targeting Southside and Dames Point employers directly will accelerate your search.
Which companies hire supply chain managers in Jacksonville?
Jacksonville supply chain manager roles are posted by Vaero, PepsiCo, and Augmentis and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Jacksonville's mix of major port operators, national retailers with regional distribution hubs, defense contractors, and consumer goods manufacturers creates a wide and varied hiring base for this role.
Are there remote supply chain manager jobs in Jacksonville?
Yes, but supply chain manager work is largely on-site by nature, since the role often requires physical oversight of inventory, warehouses, and vendor relationships. About 100% of supply chain manager openings tied to Jacksonville are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with most flexibility found in strategic planning, procurement analytics, and vendor management functions rather than operations-floor oversight.
How can I get a supply chain manager job in Jacksonville with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Jacksonville is through logistics coordinator or purchasing analyst roles at the city's distribution centers and port-adjacent freight companies, where hands-on exposure to inventory systems and carrier management builds the operational foundation employers want. Jacksonville's large retail distribution hubs and defense subcontractors also hire entry-level supply chain analysts, and an internship or contract role there is a common stepping stone into a full manager position.
Which industries hire the most supply chain managers in Jacksonville?
Jacksonville supply chain manager roles concentrate in Food & Beverage, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Jacksonville's status as a top-ten U.S. port city, combined with a large defense presence and a growing retail and e-commerce distribution footprint, keeps demand for supply chain managers consistently high across those sectors.
