Entry Level Support Associate Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level support associate job?
Employers hiring at this level look for clear communication skills, patience under pressure, and familiarity with ticketing systems or CRM tools. Internships, volunteer help-desk experience, or customer-facing retail and hospitality work all strengthen an application. Tailoring your resume to show how you resolved real problems, even in informal settings, gives you a concrete edge over candidates with a generic application.
Which companies hire entry level support associates?
Companies hiring entry level support associates right now include Amazon, RH, and Planned Parenthood, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. The mix typically includes fast-growing technology companies, healthcare organizations, and retailers that maintain large support teams and actively recruit junior candidates to staff them.
Are there remote entry level support associate jobs?
Yes, though most openings at the entry level skew on-site or hybrid while candidates build foundational skills. About 13% of entry level support associate openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, so fully remote roles exist but competition for them is higher, making a strong application especially important.
Are these new grad support associate jobs?
Yes, many of the roles listed here are new grad positions that welcome recent graduates, junior candidates, and career changers with little or no professional experience. A new-grad-friendly posting typically states that zero to two years of experience is acceptable and may credit internships, coursework projects, or a portfolio of relevant work in place of full-time history.
Which industries hire the most entry level support associates?
Entry Level support associate roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Those sectors hire at this level in volume because their support operations are large, customer-facing, and structured to onboard and train candidates who are just starting out.
