Systems Analyst Jobs in Raleigh: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a systems analyst job in Raleigh?
Focus your search on Raleigh's three strongest hiring sectors: enterprise technology firms clustered near North Hills and RTP, health systems such as those anchored along Blue Ridge Road, and state government agencies headquartered downtown. Candidates who combine business analysis skills with platform knowledge in Salesforce, ServiceNow, or SAP stand out locally. Networking through the Triangle chapter of IIBA also connects you directly to hiring managers at Raleigh employers.
Which companies hire systems analysts in Raleigh?
Raleigh systems analyst roles are posted by First Citizens Bank, WakeMed Health & Hospitals, and Pepsi Bottling Ventures and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Raleigh's employer mix runs from large health networks and state agencies to fast-growing SaaS firms and established financial technology companies, giving analysts a wide range of industries to target.
Are there remote systems analyst jobs in Raleigh?
Yes, though availability varies by role type. About 100% of systems analyst openings tied to Raleigh are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting strong demand from software and insurance firms that allow remote requirements work. Roles requiring hands-on ERP configuration or on-site stakeholder workshops at state agencies tend to remain in-office.
How can I get a systems analyst job in Raleigh with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Raleigh is a junior business analyst or IT analyst role at one of the city's mid-size health networks or state IT departments, which hire at the associate level and train on specific platforms. NC State's Poole College of Management and Wake Tech's business systems programs produce candidates local employers already recruit from. Showing proficiency in SQL, process mapping, or a single enterprise platform dramatically narrows the gap.
Which industries hire the most systems analysts in Raleigh?
Most systems analyst openings in Raleigh sit in Food & Beverage, Banking & Financial Services, and Consulting & Professional Services, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Raleigh's position as a state capital and a Research Triangle anchor means government IT modernization projects and life-sciences infrastructure investments consistently generate analyst demand alongside the city's commercial tech sector.
