Target Philadelphia's strongest hiring sectors: health systems, insurance carriers, financial services firms, and large universities cluster the most openings locally. Center City and University City hold the densest concentration of corporate and institutional employers. Candidates who combine ERP or cloud platform experience with healthcare or finance domain knowledge stand out in this market. Networking through Philly Tech Week events and local professional groups also opens doors that cold applications don't.
Which companies hire systems analysts in Philadelphia?

The local market skews toward large health networks, regional banks and insurers, defense contractors near the Navy Yard, and the city's cluster of major research universities.
Are there remote systems analyst jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, though availability depends on the role: analytical and requirements-focused positions tend to support remote work, while hands-on systems integration or on-site infrastructure roles usually require in-person presence. About 40% of systems analyst openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting broader tech-sector flexibility. Business analysis and project-adjacent positions within Philadelphia's financial services and healthcare employers are most likely to offer hybrid arrangements.
How can I get a systems analyst job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is starting as a junior business analyst or IT support specialist at one of the city's large health systems or insurance firms, which regularly hire entry-level candidates and promote from within.
