As a Clerical & Data Entry Clerk, you’ll keep information accurate, organized, and ready for the people who rely on it. You’ll enter and verify records, support order processing, and handle routine office tasks with care. Your impact: Accurate data and timely order entry help colleagues serve customers efficiently and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify information in databases, database systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Process orders, collect data, and use spreadsheets for tracking and basic Excel data analysis.
- Prepare documents using word processing and productivity software; organize digital and paper files through filing.
- Respond to routine customer service requests and direct questions to the appropriate team.
- Handle confidential information responsibly and check work for accuracy using basic math.
Experience
- Demonstrated computer skills and technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and data entry in Excel is useful.
- Typing accuracy and speed, including 10-key typing, support efficient data entry and order entry.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail help keep records and files current.
- Office experience is helpful; equivalent experience with clerical tasks, data collection, or customer service is also relevant.
