The Manager, Human Resources Business Partnerships plays a strategic role in aligning HR practices with business objectives, leads the national HR Business Partnership team of staff (3 direct reports), and provides day to day HR support to drive organizational success. The Human Resources Business Partnerships team supports performance management, talent retention, compensation alignment, and workforce planning, as well as employee relations and investigations. Reporting to the Senior HR Director, this role works closely with HR Centers of Excellence and Talent Acquisition to implement HR initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness. The Manager, Human Resources Business Partnerships operates with a high degree of autonomy, implements solutions to complex issues, and leads strategic HR initiatives. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will do:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders in support of their division's people initiatives and business outcomes.
- Daily leadership of the HR Business Partner team, including coaching and mentoring for performance and development.
- Serve as dedicated HR Business Partner to Partner Services teams, aligning talent strategies to business goals.
- Lead employee relations and conduct investigations, providing guidance and support to both staff and management.
- Implement performance management, compensation, and talent planning initiatives, in collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence.
- Support recruitment and onboarding in partnership with talent acquisition.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
- Analyze HR metrics to guide decision-making and identify improvement areas.
- Stay informed on HR trends and best practices.
- Support change management and organizational development efforts.
- Lead HR initiatives to enhance business operations, with a focus on safety and employment practices.
People Leadership:
- Executes specific goals & operational plans for assigned teams against Group plans.
- Plans for upcoming work, allocates budgets, & schedules needed resources.
- Maintains adherence to quality standards and administrative policies (e.g., time sheets, expense reports).
- Leads people through coaching and development, effective performance management, and hiring and workforce planning.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What you will bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 8+ years of broad HR experience, with demonstrated people leadership and strategic impact, preferably in the AEC industry.
Licenses/Certifications:
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRIP certification preferred.
Software:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).
