JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Business Intelligence Developer utilizes strong expertise in business intelligence systems like Qlik and Talend to support data-driven decision-making across our manufacturing operations. This role blends business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics, transforming complex operational data into actionable insights that improve production efficiency, quality, and supply chain performance.
This role will work closely with stakeholders across production, supply chain, quality, and finance to build scalable data pipelines, develop intuitive dashboards, and deliver advanced analytics that drive continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlik Cloud focused on manufacturing KPIs such as throughput, scrap rates, downtime, and inventory levels.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations that enable data-driven decisions.
- Standardize reporting and metrics across the company and within business units.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend to integrate data from ERP, MES, and other manufacturing systems.
- Design and optimize data models and data warehouse structures (e.g. snowflake schemas) to support analytics and reporting.
- Implement best practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, security, consistency, and reliability across multiple data sources.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and performance issues.
- Analyze production, quality, and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support ad hoc analysis and deep dives into operational challenges.
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve manufacturing performance.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and IT teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert for manufacturing data and BI solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data development and analytics.
- Contribute to data governance, documentation, and standardization efforts.

- Strong hands-on experience with business intelligence reporting (e.g. Qlik).
- Proven experience building ETL pipelines using tools like Talend.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
- Experience working with manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and operational teams.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to be flexible and adapt to change.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics roles.
