This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.The Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition will lead and develop a team of recruiters responsible for delivering hires for the Blue Operations team with the bulk of the hiring focused on exempt employees in Supply Chain, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, SQM, and Business Operations. The Senior Manager will lead the development of new pipeline channels, candidate engagement and attraction strategies, streamline interview processes, and builds the overall sourcing plan to achieve our delivery goals and enable the businesses to achieve their goal.
The Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition has a passion for leading a team and is responsible for building and developing a successful talent acquisition team that consistently sources and delivers a pipeline of top-quality talent. This person will manage teams across three locations and time zones (Washington, Alabama, and Florida), making it critical to be a great communicator and to have a focus on team engagement. The Senior Manager establishes clear goals uses data to drive decisions, guide, and manage their team.

Responsibilities:
Support the evolution of the talent acquisition team towards a function that is viewed as a strategic, consultative, and proactive partner with the business.
Partner with Client Leads, Recruiting Leadership, and the business to build and implement plans that identify and drive efficiency improvements enabling the team to deliver against aggressive hiring goals.
Build strategy to increase local hiring in Washington, Alabama, and Florida for exempt hiring in technical and aerospace roles.
Build and lead a team of high-performing recruiters in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Collaborate with Client Leads, finance, HR, and business leaders to understand their hiring needs and align on delivery goals.
Provide regular updates to TA leadership and business leaders on progress against hiring targets and other key talent acquisition initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in talent management, bringing innovative ideas to the organization.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, feedback, and professional growth.
Requirements:
10+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience to include highly technical roles
5+ years of experience directly managing a team
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination in years of experience
Expert level proficiency with recruiting systems and platforms and how best to achieve full optimization and adoption
Experience developing systems and processes to support smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
Experience leading a recruiting team for Manufacturing, Operations, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Centers, or another business with exempt technical engineering, operations and supply chain focuses .
Ability to understand and use data to make strategic plans.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired:
Proven track record of building and supporting a successful team of recruiters and sourcers.
Experience working in a technology, engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace/space industry.
Self-starter comfortable leading through ambiguity to define clear roadmaps and processes.
Prior start up and high growth environment experience.
Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $158,257.00 - $221,559.45Other site ranges may differ

Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
