Entry Level Technology Lead Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level technology lead job?
Entry level technology lead roles favor candidates who can show hands-on work: a GitHub portfolio, a capstone project, or a completed internship signals readiness faster than coursework alone. Employers at this level also look for foundational skills in project coordination, clear communication across teams, and familiarity with agile or scrum workflows. Applying to roles that explicitly welcome junior candidates or new graduates gives you the strongest starting point.
Which companies hire entry level technology leads?
Companies hiring entry level technology leads right now include Kelly, Capital One, and MarinHealth, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of employers, including startups building out early technical teams, mid-size product companies, and large enterprises with structured new-grad programs.
Are there remote entry level technology lead jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid postings remain common at this experience level. About 0% of entry level technology lead openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, so there are real options for candidates who need location flexibility. Filtering by work setting on Migrate Mate lets you focus only on the arrangements that fit your situation.
Are these new grad technology lead jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior technology lead roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internship or co-op work, or accepts a strong project portfolio in place of full-time history. Filtering for those signals helps new grad candidates identify roles where they are competitive from the start.
Which industries hire the most entry level technology leads?
Entry Level technology lead roles concentrate in Accounting & Auditing, Staffing & Recruiting, and Construction & Real Estate, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors tend to drive junior hiring because they are scaling technical teams quickly and need early-career contributors who can grow into broader ownership as their products expand.
