Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Global Partnerships Manager
Frame your role as management consulting
TN visa approval for Global Partnerships Manager roles depends on how the job offer letter describes your duties. Emphasize strategic advisory, market analysis, and organizational recommendations over relationship coordination or sales to satisfy USCIS's Management Consultant definition.
Request a support letter before accepting
Ask potential employers to draft a TN support letter outlining your consulting-specific duties before you formally accept an offer. Many companies new to TN sponsorship underestimate how much the letter's language determines approval at the port of entry.
Target employers with cross-border operations
Companies with active Canadian or Mexican offices are more practiced at TN sponsorship and less likely to withdraw offers when they learn no H-1B lottery is involved. Prioritize organizations whose Global Partnerships function spans North American markets.
Search verified TN-sponsor employers on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Global Partnerships Manager openings by employers with recent visa filings, so you're applying to companies already experienced with visa sponsorship rather than educating hiring managers from scratch.
Prepare credential equivalency documentation early
If your degree is from a Canadian or Mexican institution, gather official transcripts and a credential evaluation showing equivalency to a U.S. bachelor's degree in business, international relations, or a related field before your first interview round.
Understand the Mexican cap before signing
Mexican nationals face a cap of 5,500 TN visas annually through the U.S. consulate. Confirm cap availability with your employer's immigration counsel before accepting an offer, since delays at peak periods can affect your start date.

Find Global Partnerships Manager JobsGlobal Partnerships Manager TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Global Partnerships Manager role qualify for a TN visa?
Yes, but the role must align with the Management Consultant category under USMCA. Your employer's support letter needs to document that your duties include strategic analysis, organizational recommendations, and advisory functions, not just relationship management or account coordination. Roles weighted toward sales or account ownership without a consulting component are harder to approve under TN.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for this role?
TN has no annual lottery and no cap for Canadian citizens, so your start date depends on your employer's readiness rather than a random selection outcome. Canadians can often activate TN status at a port of entry the same day. H-1B requires a lottery registration in March, and a cap-subject petition can take six months or more to translate into work authorization, making TN significantly faster for qualifying roles.
Where can I find Global Partnerships Manager jobs that already offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the recommended starting point. It surfaces Global Partnerships Manager openings filtered by employers with recent visa filings, which saves time you'd otherwise spend screening out companies unfamiliar with visa sponsorship processes. Applying to employers already experienced with work visa sponsorship significantly reduces the risk of an offer being withdrawn during the immigration review stage.
Can Mexican nationals apply for TN sponsorship for this role?
Yes, Mexican nationals are eligible for TN status as Global Partnerships Managers under the Management Consultant category, but the process differs from Canadian applicants. Mexican citizens must apply for a TN visa stamp at a U.S. consulate rather than seeking admission at a port of entry. The annual cap of 5,500 TN visas for Mexican nationals means timing matters, particularly if you're targeting a mid-year start date.
What documents does your employer need to provide for TN filing?
Your employer must issue a detailed support letter on company letterhead describing your role, consulting-specific duties, your qualifications, and the anticipated length of employment, typically up to three years. The letter must specifically connect your responsibilities to the Management Consultant category. Canadian applicants present this letter at the border alongside your credentials. Mexican applicants submit it as part of the consular DS-160 application package. Migrate Mate can connect you with employers already experienced in preparing this documentation.
