How do I get an entry level training specialist job?
Entry level training specialist roles typically look for candidates who can design clear learning materials, facilitate small group sessions, or support onboarding programs. A degree in education, communications, human resources, or organizational development gives you a foundation, but internship experience, volunteer training work, or a portfolio of lesson plans or e-learning samples can be just as persuasive to hiring managers at this stage.
Which companies hire entry level training specialists?

A wide range of employers hire at this level, from large corporations building structured onboarding programs to healthcare systems, retailers, and staffing firms that need junior training support across distributed teams.
Are there remote entry level training specialist jobs?
Yes, though on-site and hybrid roles still make up a significant share of openings. About 28% of entry level training specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting demand for trainers who can deliver virtual instruction or support digital learning platforms alongside in-person programs.
Are these new grad training specialist jobs?
Yes, many of the roles listed here are new grad friendly, welcoming recent graduates, junior candidates, and career changers with limited formal experience. A new grad posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and accepts internships, student teaching, peer tutoring, or a portfolio of training materials in place of a lengthy work history.
