Treasury Analyst Jobs in Michigan: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a treasury analyst in Michigan?
Most treasury analyst roles in Michigan require a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with no state-issued license required to practice. The most recognized professional credential is the Certified Treasury Professional designation, administered by the Association for Financial Professionals. Michigan employers in automotive and manufacturing frequently prioritize candidates who combine that credential with hands-on ERP or treasury management system experience gained through internships or entry-level finance roles.
How much do treasury analysts make in Michigan?
Treasury analysts in Michigan earn a median of about $95,420 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $63,180 for the lowest 10% to over $154,230 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire treasury analysts in Michigan?
Employers hiring treasury analysts in Michigan right now include Dauch, Steelcase, and Duravent, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Michigan's deep roots in automotive manufacturing and diversified industrials mean many of the most active hirers are large corporate headquarters or regional finance centers with complex, ongoing treasury needs.
Which Michigan cities have the most treasury analyst jobs?
Grand Rapids, Novi, and Detroit have the most treasury analyst openings in Michigan. Detroit and its greater metro suburbs like Dearborn and Auburn Hills drive volume through automotive and manufacturing headquarters, while Grand Rapids draws openings from its growing healthcare and financial services sectors, and Ann Arbor contributes through its university-affiliated institutions and technology-adjacent employers.
Are there remote treasury analyst jobs in Michigan?
Yes, and more than most finance roles. About 75% of treasury analyst openings tied to Michigan are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting that much of the work involves financial systems, reporting, and analysis rather than on-site cash handling. Cash forecasting, reporting, and TMS administration are the functions most commonly offered in fully remote or hybrid arrangements by Michigan employers.
How can I get hired as a treasury analyst in Michigan with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a financial analyst, accounts payable, or accounting associate role at a Michigan manufacturer or large corporate employer, then transitioning internally into treasury. Ford, Dow, and Michigan-based healthcare systems like Henry Ford Health regularly hire new finance graduates into rotational or associate finance programs that include treasury exposure. Pursuing the Certified Treasury Professional exam early and building experience with SAP or Oracle during an internship significantly strengthens a candidacy before the first treasury-specific application.
Where can I find and apply to treasury analyst jobs in Michigan?
You can find and apply to treasury analyst jobs in Michigan on Migrate Mate, which lists current Michigan openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly to the employers posting them.
