Tips for Your Treasury Analyst Job Search
Quantify your cash management results
Hiring managers for treasury analyst roles want numbers, not duties. Replace vague resume lines with specific outcomes: how much cash you reconciled daily, forecast accuracy you achieved, or how much idle cash you reduced through pooling or sweeping strategies.
Highlight your TMS and ERP fluency
Treasury roles almost always list a treasury management system or ERP as a requirement. Name the platforms you've worked in, such as Kyriba, FIS, SAP, or Oracle, on both your resume and in interviews. Generic 'proficiency with financial systems' does not get you past resume screens.
Target listings by sub-specialization
Treasury analyst is a broad title. Filter your search by the sub-area you want, whether that's FX exposure, intercompany netting, bank relationship management, or short-term investments. Applying to roles that match your specific background produces far better response rates than casting wide.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists treasury analyst openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Prepare a cash flow model for interviews
Many treasury analyst interviews include a technical exercise around forecasting or variance analysis. Refresh your ability to build a 13-week cash flow model and explain your assumptions out loud. Interviewers care as much about your reasoning as the final numbers.
Negotiate using total compensation context
Treasury roles at banks and corporates often include bonuses tied to risk metrics or department performance. Before accepting an offer, ask how the variable component is structured and what recent payout history looks like, so you're comparing total packages, not just base figures.
Treasury Analyst Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most treasury analysts?
The companies hiring the most treasury analysts right now include Corteva Agriscience, KeyBank, and CVS Health, with the largest share of openings in New York, Texas, and California, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Demand is especially active at large corporates, regional banks, and insurance carriers with complex cash management operations.
How many treasury analyst jobs are remote?
About 34% of treasury analyst openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, though on-site roles remain common in banking and manufacturing. Sub-areas like cash reporting, FX analysis, and short-term investment monitoring tend to have the highest share of remote and hybrid arrangements, since they rely primarily on system access rather than in-person coordination.
How do you become a treasury analyst?
Most treasury analysts start with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, then move into a junior finance or accounting role to build hands-on experience with cash reconciliation and financial reporting. Earning the Certified Treasury Professional designation strengthens your candidacy significantly. Getting comfortable with at least one treasury management system and building Excel modeling skills rounds out the core preparation most hiring managers expect.
Can I get a treasury analyst job with little experience?
Yes, entry-level treasury analyst roles exist and typically require a finance or accounting degree rather than years of direct treasury experience. Internships in corporate finance, accounts payable, or bank operations are the most common stepping stones. Demonstrating familiarity with cash flow concepts and showing you've used Excel for financial analysis, even in coursework, meaningfully improves your chances with employers hiring for junior positions.
What does the treasury analyst interview process look like?
Most treasury analyst interviews run two to three rounds. The first is usually a recruiter or HR screen focused on background and fit. A hiring manager interview follows, covering your experience with cash management, forecasting methods, and the tools you've used. Many employers include a technical exercise such as building a short-term cash forecast or walking through a variance analysis, and a final round often involves meeting the broader treasury or finance team.
Where can I find and apply to treasury analyst jobs?
You can find and apply to treasury analyst jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search the listings to find roles that match your background and experience level, then apply directly to each one that fits. All applications go straight to the employer, so you're in the process from the moment you apply.
