Most vendor account manager roles in North Carolina require a bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, though relevant experience can substitute at many employers. There is no state-issued license or certification required to work in this role in North Carolina. Earning credentials such as the Certified Professional in Supply Management or a vendor management certification strengthens a candidate's profile and is recognized by many North Carolina employers in technology, manufacturing, and financial services.
Which companies hire vendor account managers in North Carolina?
Companies currently hiring vendor account managers in North Carolina include JLL, Corning, and Labcorp, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. North Carolina's concentration of large technology firms in the Research Triangle and major financial institutions in Charlotte means consistent, recurring demand across both sectors.
Which North Carolina cities have the most vendor account manager jobs?
Charlotte, Raleigh, and Sylva have the most vendor account manager openings in North Carolina. Charlotte leads because of its dense concentration of financial services firms, corporate headquarters, and enterprise technology companies, while Raleigh and Durham benefit from the Research Triangle's tech sector and major employers like Red Hat and Lenovo's North American operations, which generate steady vendor relationship roles.
