LKZ Wabtec is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our manufacturing plant in Kazakhstan.
This role plays a key part in supporting uninterrupted production operations by ensuring accurate inventory accounting, controlled internal movement of materials, and full compliance with Wabtec standards, ERP processes, and quality management requirements.
As part of the Logistics team at LKZ, you will collaborate closely with production workshops, warehouse teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure materials are available at the right time, in the right place, and accurately reflected in the system.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Who will you be working with?
You will work closely with the Internal Logistics Department, production units, warehouse teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and controlled movement of inventory within the enterprise. The role requires daily interaction with production shops and logistics colleagues to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible for ensuring accurate operational accounting and controlled movement of inventory and materials within the enterprise using an ERP system.
You will support production continuity by ensuring timely material supply, maintaining accurate inventory records, and participating in inventory counts.
What will your typical day look like?
- Work in the ERP system related to internal logistics management and inventory accounting.
- Organize, coordinate, and support accounting of incoming inventory and materials.
- Perform transactions related to internal movements, write‑offs, and other types of operational inventory accounting.
- Control data accuracy and timeliness of inventory movements and write‑offs.
- Maintain records of inventory placement in production areas and warehouse storage locations.
- Use modern technical tools and inventory tracking solutions to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support to the Head of Internal Logistics when interacting with other Company departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted material and technical supply of production workshops.
- Participate in physical inventory counts of materials and goods.
- Assist in analysis of discrepancies and correction of inventory records.
- Comply with the documentation requirements of the Company’s Quality Management System.
- Follow ISO 9001 and ST RK ISO 50001 requirements within the scope of responsibility.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Secondary specialized or higher education in logistics, economics, supply chain management, engineering, or related fields.
- Experience working with ERP systems (inventory, logistics, warehouse modules).
- Understanding of internal logistics processes and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
- High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and discipline.
- Experience working at industrial or manufacturing enterprises.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 50001 requirements.
- Experience participating in inventory counts and stock discrepancy analysis.
- Legal authorization in Kazakhstan.
- Proficiency in English and Kazakh is required.
