Which companies sponsor visas for operations supervisors in Arizona?
Intel in Chandler, Raytheon Technologies in Tucson, Honeywell in Phoenix, and Amazon across its fulfillment network have filed Labor Condition Applications for operations-related roles in Arizona. Manufacturing firms in the Phoenix metro and distribution companies along the I-10 corridor are also active sponsors. Sponsorship activity varies by year and business need, so reviewing recent LCA disclosure data gives the clearest picture.
Which visa types are most common for operations supervisor roles in Arizona?
The H-1B visa is the most frequently used visa for operations supervisor positions when the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business operations. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. The L-1A applies to supervisors transferring from a foreign affiliate of a U.S. employer already operating in Arizona.
How to find operations supervisor visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse operations supervisor openings in Arizona without sorting through roles that don't offer sponsorship. You can narrow results by location, including Phoenix, Tucson, and Chandler, to focus on the state's manufacturing and logistics hubs where sponsorship for this role is most common.
Which cities in Arizona have the most operations supervisor sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix and its surrounding metro cities, including Chandler, Tempe, and Mesa, account for the largest share of operations supervisor sponsorship activity in Arizona, driven by semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, and large-scale distribution. Tucson is the second major hub, anchored by defense contractors and manufacturing operations. Flagstaff and Yuma see occasional openings but at significantly lower volume.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for operations supervisor visa sponsorship?
Arizona's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions are benchmarked to the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale and Tucson metropolitan statistical areas, so the required wage level for the same title can differ depending on which city the job is located in. Arizona State University and University of Arizona produce engineering and supply chain graduates who compete for these roles, which means employers in the state have established pipelines and some familiarity with international candidate sponsorship processes.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored operations supervisor jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
