Regional consulting firms supporting the state's growing logistics and retail sectors have filed LCAs for consultant positions as well.
Which visa types are most common for consultant roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for consultant roles in Arkansas, particularly for management consulting, IT consulting, and supply chain advisory positions that require a relevant bachelor's degree or higher. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional categories. Australians with qualifying degrees may be eligible for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and renews in two-year increments.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most consultant sponsorship jobs?

Little Rock, as the state capital and largest city, offers consulting demand across government, healthcare, and financial services. Fayetteville adds to the Northwest Arkansas cluster, particularly for technology and strategy consultants.
How to find consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?

Are there any state-specific factors that affect consultant visa sponsorship in Arkansas?
Northwest Arkansas has become a recognized business hub, with Walmart's headquarters attracting a dense network of consulting firms that have experience sponsoring international hires. What is the prevailing wage for sponsored consultant jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
