Position Summary
This role will own the Platform and Agent Architecture that powers Marty. You will be responsible for developing the foundational platform layer, including the agent orchestration framework, agent interactions protocols, shared capabilities (memory, context, tool use, guardrails), and the extensibility model that allows Marty to scale across surfaces.
Marty is Walmart B2B AI-powered agentic platform — a “super-agent” that helps Walmart’s B2B partners build, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns through natural, conversational interactions. Marty delivers plain-language guidance from strategy to execution, personalized alerts, actionable recommendations, and advanced research reports — all within the Walmart B2B applications.
The Role
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the Core UI Experience and Measurement for Marty. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of AI and user experience. You will define what Marty looks, feels, and acts like for B2B partners — and how we know it’s working.
You will be the strategic and executional leader responsible for shaping the end-to-end conversational UI experience, defining the measurement framework that proves Marty’s value, and driving cross-functional execution across engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams.
What You’ll Do
Experience Definition & Strategy:
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Marty’s core UI — the conversational interface, interaction patterns, content presentation, and multi-modal experience surfaces.
- Define and evolve the interaction model — how advertisers converse with Marty, how responses are structured, how agentic actions are surfaced, confirmed, and executed.
- Drive the design and delivery of new UI capabilities working alongside B2B stakeholders including rich research reports (Change Analysis, Impression Share of Voice, Category Benchmarks), personalized alerts, and proactive recommendations.
- Shape the progressive disclosure of AI capabilities — determining how and when Marty reveals its reasoning, offers suggestions, and takes autonomous actions on behalf of advertisers.
Measurement & Analytics:
- Build the measurement framework that quantifies Marty’s impact on partner outcomes — performance lift, time-to-value, task completion rates, and partner satisfaction.
- Define and own success metrics — adoption, engagement depth, retention, query resolution rates, and downstream business metrics.
- Partner with data science to design experimentation strategies (A/B testing, holdout groups) that isolate Marty’s incremental value and inform product decisions.
- Create feedback loops — leveraging conversation analytics, user behavior data, and qualitative research to continuously improve experience quality and AI response accuracy.
Execution & Leadership:
- Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, AI/ML, UX design, data science, sales enablement, and go-to-market teams to deliver against an aggressive roadmap.
- Influence without authority — align senior leadership, partner teams, and stakeholders around a cohesive vision for Marty’s evolution.
- Make high-judgment trade-offs between speed and quality, automation and control, simplicity and power — with a clear point of view grounded in data and customer insight.
- Represent the voice of the advertiser in every technical and strategic decision — translating complex AI capabilities into tangible user value.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior/principal capacity owning complex, cross-functional products.
- Deep experience with UI/UX-intensive B2B products — you’ve shipped consumer-grade experiences in enterprise or advertising/supplier/seller platforms.
- Strong measurement & analytics fluency — you’ve built success metrics frameworks, designed experiments, and used data to drive product decisions at scale.
- Experience with AI/ML-powered products — you understand the nuances of shipping conversational AI, agentic systems, or intelligent assistants (LLM-based products a strong plus).
- Advertising, digital media, supplier or seller technology background — you understand workflows, needs, and the ecosystem.
- Exceptional communication skills — you can articulate a compelling vision to executives, translate technical complexity for non-technical audiences, and write crisp product specs.
- Proven ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels — you set the vision AND write the acceptance criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with B2B platforms such as retail media platforms (Walmart Connect, Amazon Ads, Criteo, CitrusAd, etc.), Seller or Supplier platforms.
- Background in conversational AI, chatbots, or agentic AI systems.
- Familiarity with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering considerations, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience defining and scaling 0-1 products from beta to general availability.
- Track record of influencing platform-level decisions across multiple product areas.
What Makes This Role Special
- You’re shaping the future of Walmart B2B experience. Marty isn’t a chatbot bolted onto an ad platform — it’s a fundamental reimagining of how B2B partners interact with Walmart.
- You’ll operate at the frontier of applied AI. This isn’t theoretical — you’ll ship AI-powered experiences to real advertisers driving real business outcomes, at Walmart scale.
- You’ll have executive visibility. Marty is a strategic priority for Walmart leadership. Your work will be seen, felt, and measured at the highest levels.
- You’ll define the playbook. As the experience and measurement owner, you’ll establish the patterns, frameworks, and standards that scale across Marty’s expanding capabilities.

It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable. For information about PTO, see https://one.walmart.com/notices. Which companies sponsor visas for product managers in Arkansas?
Walmart is the most prominent sponsor, given its Bentonville headquarters and extensive digital and e-commerce product teams. Dillard's, Windstream Communications, and Stephens Inc. have also supported H-1B sponsorship for technology and product roles. Arkansas-based healthcare organizations, including Arkansas Children's and Baptist Health, occasionally hire sponsored product managers for health-tech and digital transformation initiatives.
Which visa types are most common for product manager roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa category for product managers in Arkansas, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as computer science, business, or engineering. L-1B visas are another pathway for candidates transferring into Arkansas-based roles from a foreign affiliate of a multinational employer like Walmart.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most product manager sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville is the primary concentration point, driven by Walmart and its network of technology and vendor partners anchored around the Walmart Home Office. Little Rock is the second-largest market, with opportunities in state government technology projects, financial services, and healthcare IT. Fayetteville, home to the University of Arkansas, also sees product hiring from regional startups and mid-size technology companies.
How to find product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking sponsored roles. You can filter product manager positions to Arkansas directly, surfacing employers that have a documented history of H-1B sponsorship. Because Bentonville and Little Rock are smaller markets than coastal tech hubs, filtering by sponsorship history on Migrate Mate helps you avoid wasting time on postings where international hiring is unlikely.
Are there state-specific considerations for product managers seeking sponsorship in Arkansas?
Arkansas's cost of living is significantly lower than coastal tech markets, which affects prevailing wage calculations under Department of Labor guidelines. Employers must still meet federally mandated prevailing wages for the relevant occupation and geographic area, so the wage floor will reflect Northwest Arkansas or Little Rock metro rates rather than national tech-hub benchmarks. The University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University also provide a modest pipeline of international graduates entering the regional PM job market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product manager jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
