Which companies sponsor visas for product managers in Oregon?
Intel and Nike are among the most active visa sponsors for product managers in Oregon, given the scale of their operations in Hillsboro and Beaverton respectively. Portland-based employers including Adidas North America, Cambia Health Solutions, and various mid-size software companies have also filed H-1B visa Labor Condition Applications for product management roles. Sponsorship activity concentrates in the Portland metro area rather than smaller Oregon cities.
Which visa types are most common for product manager roles in Oregon?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product managers in Oregon, as the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, engineering, or business. Candidates from Australia may also pursue the E-3 visa. Those with extraordinary ability or national interest arguments sometimes explore the O-1 visa or EB-2 NIW pathways, though these require substantially stronger documentation.
Which cities in Oregon have the most product manager sponsorship jobs?
The Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Hillsboro, accounts for the vast majority of product manager visa sponsorship activity in Oregon. Intel's semiconductor campus in Hillsboro and Nike's world headquarters in Beaverton each employ large numbers of product managers. Portland proper hosts the bulk of Oregon's software and digital product companies. Outside this corridor, sponsorship opportunities for product managers drop off significantly.
How to find product manager visa sponsorship jobs in Oregon?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates and filters product manager roles in Oregon by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sifting through listings from employers who won't sponsor. Roles are sourced from companies with documented H-1B filing histories, which makes it easier to focus outreach on employers already familiar with the sponsorship process for product management positions in the Portland metro and beyond.
Are there state-specific or role-specific factors product managers should know about Oregon sponsorship?
Oregon has no state income tax, which affects net compensation calculations but does not change federal H-1B prevailing wage requirements. Employers must still pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the product manager role's specific location and level. Oregon State University and the University of Oregon produce graduates who feed regional tech pipelines, meaning some employers have established international hiring experience that can make the sponsorship process more straightforward for qualified candidates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product manager jobs in Oregon?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
