Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for project management coordinators?
Walmart and its technology subsidiary Walmart Global Tech in Bentonville are among the most active H-1B sponsors in Arkansas, frequently hiring project management coordinators. Other sponsors have included Dillard's, Windstream Communications, and healthcare organizations such as Baptist Health and UAMS. Defense and government contractors operating near Little Rock also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for project management roles.
Which visa types are most common for project management coordinator roles in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project management coordinator positions in Arkansas, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, engineering, or information systems. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management occupations. Candidates already in the U.S. on OPT or STEM OPT extension can also pursue sponsorship through employer-filed H-1B petitions.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most project management coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville and the broader Northwest Arkansas corridor generate the highest concentration of project management coordinator opportunities, driven largely by Walmart's campus and its extensive supplier and vendor ecosystem. Little Rock follows as the state capital with healthcare, government, and financial services employers. Fayetteville sees demand tied to the University of Arkansas and surrounding technology and logistics firms.
How to find project management coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship, making it more targeted than a general job search for project management coordinator positions in Arkansas. You can browse open roles in Bentonville, Little Rock, and Fayetteville and filter by visa type to focus on H-1B-eligible positions. This saves time compared to manually researching each employer's sponsorship history.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for project management coordinators in Arkansas?
Arkansas's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B project management coordinator roles are set by the Department of Labor based on the specific job location, and wages in Northwest Arkansas reflect the strong employer competition around Walmart's headquarters. The University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University produce graduates who enter the local project management talent pool, and some international alumni pursue OPT-to-H-1B transitions with regional employers. The state's lower cost of living can make Arkansas-based roles attractive even when considering relocation.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management coordinator jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
