Which companies sponsor visas for project management coordinators in Colorado?
Colorado employers with established visa sponsorship programs for project management coordinators include Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman in aerospace, DaVita and UCHealth in healthcare operations, Trimble and Arrow Electronics in technology, and large construction firms like Hensel Phelps, which is headquartered in Greeley. Sponsorship is most consistent at larger corporations with dedicated HR and legal infrastructure to manage the petition process.
Which visa types are most common for project management coordinator roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project management coordinators in Colorado, provided the role meets the specialty occupation standard, meaning the position typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, engineering, or information systems. Some coordinators in regulated industries transition through OPT or STEM OPT before their employer files an H-1B petition on their behalf.
Which cities in Colorado have the most project management coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of project management coordinator sponsorship opportunities in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and healthcare systems. Boulder attracts coordinators in software and research environments. Colorado Springs has steady demand through defense contractors. Fort Collins and the broader Northern Colorado corridor also host manufacturing and engineering employers that sponsor coordinators.
How to find project management coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship status, so you can browse project management coordinator roles in Colorado without sorting through positions that do not offer sponsorship. Search by role and state to see current openings from Colorado employers actively seeking coordinators. This is particularly useful for narrowing your search to companies with documented H-1B filing histories in project-related functions.
Are there state-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for project management coordinators in Colorado?
Colorado's strong aerospace and defense sector means many project management coordinator roles involve federal contracts, which can add security clearance requirements that complicate sponsorship for some visa holders. The state's active construction and infrastructure growth, particularly around Denver International Airport and highway expansion projects, creates coordinator demand in sectors where sponsorship is less common, so targeting technology and corporate operations employers typically yields more sponsorship-open opportunities.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management coordinator jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
