Which companies sponsor visas for project management coordinators in Arizona?
Intel, Honeywell, and TSMC are among the largest H-1B visa sponsors for project management roles in Arizona, particularly in the semiconductor and aerospace sectors. Banner Health and Dignity Health sponsor project coordinators on the healthcare side. Construction and engineering firms supporting Phoenix's infrastructure growth, including AECOM and Jacobs Engineering, have also filed LCAs for project management coordinator positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for project management coordinator roles in Arizona?
The H-1B is the most common visa for project management coordinators in Arizona, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. The TN visa is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories. The O-1 visa is rarely applicable unless a candidate has demonstrated extraordinary achievement in the field.
Which cities in Arizona have the most project management coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Phoenix accounts for the majority of project management coordinator sponsorship activity in Arizona, driven by its concentration of tech, healthcare, and construction employers. Scottsdale and Tempe follow, with corporate campuses for financial services and tech companies. Chandler and Mesa are growing nodes due to Intel's semiconductor operations and related supply chain firms, which frequently hire project coordination professionals.
How to find project management coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find project management coordinator roles in Arizona that offer visa sponsorship, since listings are filtered specifically for internationally sponsored positions. On Migrate Mate, you can narrow by state and job function to surface Arizona employers actively filing H-1B or other work visa petitions for project management coordinators, saving significant time compared to reviewing unfiltered general job boards.
Are there any Arizona-specific considerations for project management coordinators seeking sponsorship?
Arizona's construction and semiconductor booms have kept demand for project management coordinators steady, which generally supports sponsorship willingness among larger employers. The Phoenix metro's designation as a federally supported semiconductor hub under the CHIPS Act has drawn major capital investment, expanding hiring pipelines at TSMC and Intel. Arizona State University's large engineering and business programs also feed local employer networks, which can benefit international graduates already based in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management coordinator jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
