Which companies sponsor visas for project management coordinators in New Hampshire?
Defense and aerospace contractors in the southern tier, including BAE Systems in Nashua, are among the more active visa sponsors for project coordination roles in New Hampshire. Healthcare networks such as Dartmouth Health and Catholic Medical Center also hire project management coordinators and have sponsored H-1B visa workers. Technology and financial services firms with Manchester-area offices round out the primary sponsoring employer pool for this role.
Which visa types are most common for project management coordinator roles in New Hampshire?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project management coordinator positions in New Hampshire, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business administration, engineering, or information systems. Candidates already holding L-1B or TN visa status through a qualifying employer transfer may also fill these roles. The position must meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria, which some general coordinator roles do not satisfy, so job title and duties matter significantly.
Which cities in New Hampshire have the most project management coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Manchester and Nashua together account for the largest share of project management coordinator opportunities in New Hampshire, driven by their concentration of corporate offices, defense contractors, and healthcare institutions. Concord, as the state capital, adds public sector and state government adjacent roles. Portsmouth has a growing technology and services cluster that occasionally produces coordinator openings. Rural northern New Hampshire has very limited sponsorship activity for this role type.
How to find project management coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in New Hampshire?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for international job seekers and filters project management coordinator openings to employers with a history of visa sponsorship in New Hampshire. Rather than sorting through general job listings where sponsorship status is unclear, Migrate Mate surfaces roles from companies that have previously filed H-1B or other work visa petitions for similar positions, saving significant time during a job search where immigration timelines are a real constraint.
Are there any state-specific considerations for project management coordinators pursuing visa sponsorship in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire has no state income tax, which affects prevailing wage calculations since total compensation comparisons differ from neighboring Massachusetts. For H-1B purposes, employers still file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor based on the role's Standard Occupational Classification code and the Nashua or Manchester metropolitan area wage data, not statewide averages. New Hampshire's proximity to Boston's talent pipeline means some roles are posted simultaneously for both markets, so applicants should confirm the actual work location and corresponding wage level.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management coordinator jobs in New Hampshire?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
