Which companies in Wisconsin sponsor visas for project management coordinators?
Wisconsin manufacturers and healthcare organizations are among the most active sponsors for project management coordinator roles. Companies like Kohler Co., Oshkosh Corporation, Rockwell Automation, Advocate Aurora Health, and Epic Systems have histories of H-1B filings for project management and operations roles. Large employers with structured project portfolios tend to sponsor most consistently, particularly those managing complex supply chains or multi-site technology implementations.
Which visa types are most common for project management coordinator roles in Wisconsin?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for project management coordinator positions in Wisconsin, provided the role requires a specific bachelor's degree in a field like business administration, engineering, or information systems. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for the TN visa under the NAFTA/USMCA professional category. Australian citizens can explore the E-3 visa. Each pathway requires the employer to demonstrate the position meets specialty occupation standards.
Which cities in Wisconsin have the most project management coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Milwaukee and Madison account for the largest share of project management coordinator sponsorship activity in Wisconsin. Milwaukee's concentration of manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare employers drives demand, while Madison benefits from Epic Systems, the University of Wisconsin system, and a growing technology sector. Green Bay and Appleton also generate openings tied to paper manufacturing, packaging, and regional healthcare networks, though at lower volume than the two major metros.
How to find project management coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Wisconsin?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship eligibility, making it practical to search for project management coordinator roles in Wisconsin without sifting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can filter by state and role type to surface openings at Wisconsin employers with a track record of sponsoring international candidates. This is particularly useful for identifying active openings at manufacturers, healthcare systems, and technology firms concentrated in Milwaukee and Madison.
Are there state-specific considerations for project management coordinator visa sponsorship in Wisconsin?
Wisconsin's prevailing wage requirements for H-1B positions are determined by the Department of Labor's wage data for the specific metropolitan area, so wages for a project management coordinator role in Milwaukee differ from those in smaller markets like Appleton or Wausau. Wisconsin also has a strong pipeline of internationally trained professionals through the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Marquette University, meaning competition for sponsored roles at established employers can be meaningful in those metro areas.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored project management coordinator jobs in Wisconsin?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
